If Charles De Lint's The Blue Girl Imogene stumbled upon my blog, I am convinced she would say something along the lines of:
' My name is Imogene. I am only slightly older than you, and agree that school isn't very fun most of the time. It's kind of creepy that you know all about my life, but its nice to know someone understood me. Many people would just think I'm a rebellious brat. I can tell you don't think that.
I really do miss Adrian. That was SO sad. He didn't deserve what his fairy friends did to him. Make him fly? Good job. I didn't like those little creepers in the first place. He was just a lonely boy, looking for a friend and finds monsters.
After high school I went on to be a designer. I have my own clothing line: affordable clothing inspired by thrift-shop-vintage.
The blue skin-thing finally wore off a couple weeks after. People thought I was a Blue Man Group fan. I felt so relieved the day my skin was finally a much more natural and less blue shade.
The anithmin were the scariest things of life. I'm so proud of my friend. The most scared and anxiety filled friend saved all our lives.
Anyways, I'll be keeping in touch.
Sincerely,
Imogene.
