All of the chosen art work reflects upon the theme, texts used in the tapestry, or have links to the ideals surrounding them. The crying angel on the grave links to the tale of Georgette, her unforgettable sad life. The second image, relates to the general theme: it talks of disgrace and how it haunts. But in order for such a disgrace to have a haunting nature, one must reflect. The crying 'goth' girl is quite an artistic photograph and edit, it gives so much emotion and feelings of sadness from it. There is much visible reflection in order to be crying great mascara tears, and disgrace can be inferred from her situation. The last is a rendition of The Raven, it shows the man gazing upon the never-ending watch of the Raven. The entire remorseful tale was all of reflection and disgrace. In this painting the disapproval and disgrace towards the man from the Raven is visible: its high stance and gazing down upon him shows a certain higher rank, as if the bird is of higher standing than him. The raised hand to the forehead of the man shows woe and reflection, as though the feelings he is receiving are too much for him to handle. Overall, these four art choices show an insight into the disgrace and reflection of my tapestry.
